When did you choose to be the kind of person who makes the kinds of decisions and takes the kind of (in)actions you do? When did you decide to believe what you do about other people and the world?
When did you decide to have the viewpoints and perspectives that you do? To be the kind of person who treats other people the way you do? When did you decide how honest or dishonest you want to be? How much trust to be capable of? How much emotional vulnerability you’re capable of? How do you choose when to feel emotionally safe and when you want to be closed off and emotionally walled up? How and when did you decide how much emotional stress you can handle before it’s too much? How do you decide the right moments to be emotionally closed and defensive or open and vulnerable?
I’m not looking for advice, I just mean you specifically - Do you know? Can you explain when and how you crafted yourself to be who and how you are?
Why did you choose the things about yourself that you did? And how did you choose to be the kind of person who would value what you do and decide to make yourself how you are? When and why did you pick your specific set of flaws and imperfections? Your unique skills and talents?
I’m V curious what people think about this in relationship to themselves!
For extra credit: Can you describe in detail the individual steps of how you make your hand and fingers move to click on, read, and reply to this article? And how did you decide to be interested enough in the topic to click and read it?
